Re: the GF: I'm told this is all pretty much par for the course as far as the transition between HS & college, but living through it is another matter.

Jen- The job will indeed make life easier in more ways than one. If I survive the transition that is. LOL

Emily- I'm finding that deadlines and lack of time are fast changing my procrastinating ways. Which has surprised me. A lot!

Angry Woman- Thanks for the good wishes and support.

Tara- You're right. Graduate doesn't think Kudzu is so much of an issue. It's the rest of us who see problems in the offing. We'll see what happens when he moves away. Congrats on your new job too!Bob & Muffintophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12517851052183148808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11608286.post-35595966986738135412007-08-12T05:49:00.000-04:002007-08-12T05:49:00.000-04:00Well, all of this is very exciting. Does he consider her kudzu too? I got my DL a week before I had to start commuting to college, my poor mother was sweating bullets.

It's nice your husband is home to help balance things for you. I'm sure once school starts you'll have a much better routine.

Take care,
TaraTara Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15963704767440694312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11608286.post-18331023978082007842007-08-11T09:46:00.000-04:002007-08-11T09:46:00.000-04:00Congrats on the new job!!! Congrats about your son's drive...Hey, welcome back! Congrats about your son's driver's license. I just changed my NC DL back to MD this weekend. My 18 different forms of US and international ID/address confirmation turned out to be completely irrelevant, as they just pulled up my parents' address from the computer and reassigned me my old DL number. It was convenient, but also... a little weird.

Good luck with Kudzu. Having both fended off--and become!--a Kudzu in my time, I have sympathy for both parties.Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02129205000829976803noreply@blogger.com
