It seems to me a tortured heroine needs a beta to help heal her. It's probably why I prefer alpha heros, they need alpha females.

And, Jenster's right the best heroines are ones I want to have lunch with.Tara Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15963704767440694312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11608286.post-1130544498773776092005-10-28T20:08:00.000-04:002005-10-28T20:08:00.000-04:00Oh Jenster- I'm soooo glad someone agrees with me!...Oh Jenster- I'm soooo glad someone agrees with me!Bob & Muffintophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12517851052183148808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11608286.post-1130530792085297942005-10-28T16:19:00.000-04:002005-10-28T16:19:00.000-04:00LOL!!! Oh Amanda. You do have a way with words.I...LOL!!! Oh Amanda. You do have a way with words.

I do agree with you, though. I have a hard time relating to tortured heroines. My favorite heroine is the type of woman I can see myself sharing stories and laughter over a cup of coffee or tea.

And that shouldn't minimize what some women have gone through. But when I'm reading that's what I want.

JenAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
